Issue 20: Still Time for Love

Wedding rings

With the disruption, tragedy, and fear that have marked this year, I’ve had a hard time trying to choose a topic for the final issue of 2020. I’ve decided to turn toward the light and share with you a glimpse into the wedding we held at our home for two friends. Following quarantines and Covid tests, the four of us, along with the Gazette’s photographer Zak Yasin and Chef Evelyn Hitchcock, came together in early December to create a celebration of love and joy. In another reality, the bride and groom would have chosen a honeymoon in Paris, so we fashioned a menu to transport them there. The recipes are included here. Join us!

Congratulations on your 20th issue! Your theme of light and love is so welcoming. It aligns with the upcoming Winter Solstice which will start to return our light and bring in a brighter New Year. Your issue, as usual, shares such beautiful photos and the wedding video is charming. The French Onion Tart will be on our Christmas dinner menu and can’t wait to try the Misu Ginger Sauce!
