Life & Thyme is a website dedicated to global food journalism. It is also the producer of award-winning documentaries profiling chefs, restaurants and migrant kitchens. In response to the pandemic, they have created a crowd-sourced directory of farmers, producers, restaurants and purveyors selling products to home-cooks. It’s a national list, presented alphabetically, but you can also sort the extensive listings by type of product: alcohol, bakery, coffee and tea, dairy, meats, plant based, pantry, produce or snacks. You can sort by location and whether the companies offer pick-up, delivery, or shipping. Readers are also given the opportunity to nominate businesses to add to the list, which is still in development.
